We are planning an online course on osteological research data management

The RDFBones/AnthroGraph workgroup at Biological Anthropology, University of Freiburg, is currently preparing a funding application for the next phase of their current project. The activities planned include an online course on osteological research data management that aims to help osteologists in biological anthropology to realise solutions for their specific research data requirements.

The course is aimed at the following target groups:

• PhD students and postdocs intending to adopt good practices early in their career
• Research projects required by their funding agencies to meet specific research data standards
• Research institutions building up larger bodies of research data over longer periods of time
• Collaborative research projects

The workgroup is keeping a list of prospective course participants to document interest within the scientific community towards the funding agency. Researchers who would like to attend a course on osteological research data management or would generally appreciate the existence of such a course are kindly asked to contact Felix Engel
